Harris Point Chicago has been a premier Real Estate Development and Property Management firm for over 25 years in one of the most vibrant neighborhoods in the city of Chicago. We manage 100+ exceptional apartments for graduate medical students and faculty within a short walking distance to the Illinois Medical District, UIC, Little Italy, and the West Loop entertainment/restaurant district.
This internship provides a fantastic overview of the Real Estate industry from how to develop a piece of property, market our brand to prospective residents, build outstanding customer relationships, and be a part of the day-to-day operations of a premier and fast-growing and well established Real Estate firm.

You will have the ability to be creative, share ideas, and implement those ideas into reality.
You will be working on exciting projects and learning something new each and every day!
This internship will begin on Monday, May 6, 2024 and conclude August 16, 2024. We will have some flexibility on the start date.
Additionally, there is the opportunity to do part-time paid work prior to the official full-time start date of Monday May 6, 2024.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end sales cycle of prospective apartment lessors with timely follow-up to convert and on-board residents.
- Utilize on-line marketing tools, posting ads as well as community outreach and B-2-B communications to increase awareness and traffic to our properties.
- Schedule tours with prospective residents and show the benefits of living at Harris Point Chicago.
- Prepare lease documentation and paperwork associated with move in and move outs.
- Provide exceptional customer service to our current and future residents.
- Review and assist with a variety of financial reports including, income statements, budget variance reports, receivables/delinquency reports, etc.
- Participate in and manage parts of any development projects occurring during Summer 2024.
Qualifications & Skill Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Management, Operations.
- Preference to a rising Junior or Senior
- Strong written and verbal communication skills as you will be one of the main points of contact with residents.
- Desire to work in the real estate and/or property management industry.
- Strong project management skills including the ability to create and manage deadlines.
- Extremely detail and process oriented.
- Excellent work ethic and drive.
